At Car Center, we provide estimated completion times upfront and keep you informed throughout the process with text or email updates so you always know where your repair stands.

Do I need to get multiple estimates for my collision repair?

While some people prefer to shop around, it’s not required. At Car Center, we provide fast, free estimates, whether you choose to repair with us or not. Our estimates are thorough and transparent, detailing all necessary repairs to restore your vehicle to pre-accident condition. With our I-CAR Gold Class certification, you can trust that our estimate reflects the quality repairs your vehicle needs.

What certifications does Car Center have?

Car Center holds several important certifications that demonstrate our commitment to quality repairs. We’re an I-CAR Gold Class certified facility, meaning our technicians receive ongoing training in the latest repair techniques and vehicle technologies. Yes, for your convenience, Car Center offers free local shuttle service at all our locations. For more extensive repairs that require your vehicle to be in the shop for several days, we also have affordable rental vehicles available upon request. Can I get an estimate without bringing my car in

Absolutely! Car Center offers a convenient photo estimator tool on our website. Simply take clear photos of your vehicle’s damage from various angles and upload them through our online system along with details about the incident. Our certified technicians will review the photos and provide you with a detailed repair estimate—no need to tow your car in just for an estimate. This saves you time and helps us begin planning your repairs right away.

How will I know the status of my repairs?

Communication is a priority at Car Center. We keep you informed throughout the entire repair process through your preferred method—either text message or email. You’ll receive progress updates, photos, and real-time information about your vehicle’s repairs. You can also contact the technician working on your vehicle directly if you have questions. This transparent approach takes the worry out of the collision repair process.

What types of collision damage can you repair?

Our team at Car Center is equipped to handle all types of collision damage, from minor fender benders and door dings to major accident repairs involving structural damage. Our services include complete collision repair, unibody and full frame repair, aluminum repairs, auto glass replacement and repair, auto body painting and refinishing, hail damage repair, scratch repair, wheel alignment and suspension repair, headlight restoration, and OEM part replacement. No job is too big or too small for our experienced technicians.

Do you use OEM parts or aftermarket parts?

At Car Center, we use high-quality OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) parts to ensure your vehicle is restored to manufacturer specifications. OEM parts are designed specifically for your vehicle’s make and model, ensuring proper fit, function, and safety. We’re certified to use OEM parts for Ford, Honda, Acura, Hyundai, Kia, Nissan, Subaru, and Mazda, and we follow all manufacturer specifications for every repair we complete.

What should I do immediately after a collision?

First, ensure everyone’s safety and call 911 if there are injuries. Document the accident scene with photos if possible and exchange information with other drivers involved. Contact your insurance company to report the claim, then reach out to Car Center for a free estimate. We can guide you through the entire process, including working with your insurance adjuster. Even if the damage seems minor, it’s important to have your vehicle inspected by professionals, as hidden structural or mechanical damage may not be immediately visible.

Can you help with my insurance claim?

Yes, insurance claim assistance is one of the services we proudly offer. Our experienced team at Car Center knows how to navigate the claims process and will work directly with your insurance company to ensure all necessary repairs are covered. We handle the paperwork and communication with adjusters, making the process as stress-free as possible for you. We want your experience to be worry-free from start to finish.

What if additional damage is found during the repair of my vehicle?

If additional damage is found during the collision repairs on your vehicle, and they are determined to be accident-related, then the insurance company will pay for them. Car Center will produce a supplemental invoice and submit it to the insurance company when this occurs.

Can I get Mechanical Services done on my vehicle while it is in the body shop?

Absolutely! Our Greenville location offers a full range of mechanical services as well as collision repair. Communicate to the estimator what you would like to have done while it is here, and we will coordinate it.

After the collision repairs are done, do I need to take any precautions with the new paint finish?

Our paint booth bakes the paint finish. Once the collision repairs are done and the vehicle is assembled, we wash the vehicle and vacuum the interior. It is fine to wash the vehicle, but do not use commercial car washes with brushes. We recommend that you refrain from waxing the vehicle for approximately 3 months. This allows the paint to set up completely.

What if I notice something that is still not right after collision repairs are completed?

You may bring your vehicle back in, or give us a call to discuss anything you notice that may seem abnormal and related to the accident or recent collision repairs. Our goal is to restore your car to pre-accident condition!
